Tracking Seminar & Workshop with AKC Judge Steve Ripley
April 14th & 15th, approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., southeast Indianapolis
AKC Judge Steve Ripley will lead participants through the world of VST [Variable Service Tracker], first by doing demonstrations with his own dog, then by helping less experienced dogs and handlers learn to negotiate the pitfalls of tracking. Attendees will learn how to plan and lay tracks, how to work as a team with a dog, how to read the dog, and how to solve problems, among other things.
Cost: $125 with dog if registered in advance; $150 If registered day of seminar. Limit 15 handler/dog teams; no limit to those auditing without dogs. Auditing, $50 in advance, $75 day of seminar. Price includes lunch both days and continental breakfast on Sunday.
Upon completion of seminar, participants will have opportunity to run on-site under an AKC judge for their first VST certificate.
For more information contact Steve SeRine at email@example.com
There are only a few dog & handler spaces left in our April 14 & 15th AKC Tracking Seminar (see previous posts regarding this). But we still have plenty of room for those who wish to audit — that is, attend without bringing a dog. If you register in advance it costs only $50 to attend and audit the seminar, and that price includes lunch both days and a continental breakfast on Sunday! You can also register to audit on-site on the 14th, but on-site registration price goes up to $75.
To register as dog & handler ($125) or to register to audit ($50), mail check and your name, address, email and phone number to Peggy Watson, 7034 N. 300 E., Battle Ground, IN 47920.
If you have questions or would like more information, contact Steve SeRine at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (765) 342-1629.
